Playa de la Cantería
(near Orzola village – northern tip)
Situated west of Orzola, a sleepy fishing village at the northern tip of the island, you will find a picturesque, small beach – Playa de la Cantería – with fine white sand and a few natural lava pools, ideal for children to bathe in. Unfortunately, swimming in the sea is not recommended because of strong sea currents. Yet, good waves make this beach a favourite spot for wind surfers – visitors and locals alike.
There is also a nice camping site, but you have to get prior municipal approval if you want to camp there.
