Parque Natural Las Pardelas
On the road to the Mirador del Rio, leaving Orzola in the southwest of Lanzarote, you will pass Las Pardelas, a recreational and ecological park aimed at getting children closer to nature.
Here you will find lots of farm animals including goats, donkeys and rabbits, which children can help to feed, as well as endemic plants scattered around the landscape. The little ones are encouraged to get up close to the animals, have a ride on a donkey or enjoy a pottery lesson.
Traditional crafts, like how to make gofio (ground and roasted cereal) are also demonstrated and there is a small restaurant and a children’s playground. This park can be visited daily between 10.00 and 18.00 hrs and is open for an hour longer during the summer months.
