A drive through mountainous terrain takes you to the village of Masdache, located in the municipality of Tías in the south-east of Lanzarote.

On the road to Uga, shortly before the western entrance to the village, you will see César Manrique’s Monumento al Pájaro Grifo, a large griffin that marks the turn to the Bodega el Grifo.
