Temperature Average - °CJFMAMJJASONDDaylight Hours
Lanzarote has the most consistent climate of all the Canary Islands, with stable temperatures throughout the year averaging 17ºC (63º F) in January/February and 24º C (75º F) in summer time. The highest temperatures are usually reached in June, July and August with an abundance of sunshine and beautiful blue skies.
As a rule, the southern resorts are hotter compared with the north and enjoy more hours of sun.
Due to a cool Canary current flowing from the north, the sea temperatures – with around 18ºC (64ºF) in the winter and 22ºC (72ºF) in the summer – are lower than you would expect them to be at this latitude.
