This is where Carnival meets both east and west as the themes, including the 1920s, Flavours of the East, The Jungle and Bollywood – Fantasy of India are as different as they are eclectic making this one of the brightest carnivals around. So let your senses be amazed as you experience parades, processions, marching bands, brightly decorated floats, dancers and above all, enjoy the fun-filled atmosphere as Lanzarote makes Carnival one of the biggest parties of the year.
And the great thing about this event is that you can either follow one of the themes or dress up as something completely different as this ‘anything goes’ atmosphere is inclusive, vibrant and fun.
Depending on where you are staying, the carnival takes place at different times. So it is possible if you time your visit right to visit more than one.
